Discussion Circle Goal

COVID-19 has created challenges and opportunities on a massive scale globally. The pandemic has forced businesses to adapt all elements of their enterprise to stay competitive during this transition to a “new normal.” This event was a practical conversation about designing a transformation governance for enabling transformation strategies.

This event was a practical conversation about designing a transformation governance for enabling transformation strategies for post-COVID success:

  • What is a transformation governance?

  • What factors impact a successful governance?

  • Post Covid-19 considerations

Speaker:

  • Gunjan Syal - Transformation Executive at Emerald Technology Group Inc.

Key Discussion Areas

It was an amazing experience to discuss how the governance has evolved on transformations with perspectives from multiple roles.

  • Typical pre-COVID transformation governance approaches

  • Comparison of pre-COVID organization structures dynamics

  • Apple's ecosystem approach to innovation

  • Amazon's flywheel

  • The recent approach which a Canadian retailer employed to transform in the pandemic world

  • What factors govern a real-time-aligned ecosystem and how it will support a post-COVID transformation

What's Next?
