Gunjanisms: Need vs. Offering…

How many of you have giftcards collecting dust in your drawers? I consider that a drain on economy.

Golden rule of giving: ask what the person needs and either give as close as possible, or don’t give anything at all. Simply pointing them towards exact thing they need is more help than offering what they did not ask for.

By the same token, giving someone right thing at wrong time and with additional constraints causes more harm than good because it wastes valuable time for everyone involved.

“People know what they need. Listen for specificity and either offer what they need or tell them you can not to move on. Making assumptions hurts everyone involved.” -Gunjan
